Anjana Sukhani Early life and Career
Anjana was born on 10 December 1978 to a Sindhi family in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Her father is Om Sukhani and her mother is Preethi Sukhani. She has a younger sister named Meena Sukhani. She enrolled in the Kamla High school, Khar, Mumbai to pursue her school education. Later she was admitted to Cardiff Metropolitan University where she graduated with a degree in Management sciences. Anjana and her family practice the Hinduism religion.
Anjana started her career by venturing into the modelling world. Climbing the ladders of success, she later bagged a Cadbury Dairy milk AD commercial alongside the B-town legend Amitabh Bachchan. Soon after that, she was signed for a music video titled “Ghar Jayegi”.
Finally, in the year 2005, Anjana was signed for the Hindi film Hum Dum through which she became a part of the B-town fraternity. Her co-stars in the film were Ranveer Shorey, Romit Raj and Tanvi Aazmi. Her other Bollywood projects include Salaam-e-Ishq, Golmaal returns, Jashnn and Jai Veeru in which she was offered sizable roles.
In 2009, the gates of the South-Indian film industry opened for the actress when she signed her first Kannada film Maleyali Jotheyali. She subsequently landed roles in other film industries too, such as Don Seenu and Naa Oopori, the Telugu movies, Laal Ishq, a Marathi movie and Young Malang, a Punjabi movie. Anjana has also been a participant in the Television reality stunt show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi. Her latest film release is known to be the movie Coffee with D. Anjana is in a relationship with the Bollywood actor Rehan Khan and is all set to marry her in the future.
