Gujarat Titans Team Players Auction 2023

Cricket fans eagerly awaited the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which was expanded to ten teams with the addition of Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants. The Mega auction held in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13 saw all ten teams finalize their squads. Each of the eight existing teams was allowed to retain a maximum of four players, while the two new teams were allowed to select three players from the unretained players list.

The franchises received a total of 90 crore INR, with varying amounts depending on the players they retained and drafted. Each team had its own game plan for the auction, with some choosing to rebuild and others looking to re-sign former players.

This IPL auction also made history as 11 players received bids of INR 10 crore or more. Mumbai Indians paid the highest amount, INR 15.25 crore, to bring back wicketkeeper-batsman Ishan Kishan to their team.
