Henry Liang, also known as MxR, was born on July 5th, 1994, in Long Island, New York, United States. He comes from a Taiwanese-American background. He began his YouTube journey in 2011 during his senior year in high school. His early content focused on the game Skyrim, and he shared these videos on his YouTube channel. While he attended Boston University for engineering, he eventually decided to drop out and pursue a career as a YouTuber.
